I love watching the bride take an anxious deep breath before she approaches her groom. I love the outpouring of emotion as soon as he turns around. There’s nothing like it on a wedding day. Those intimate moments between the bride and her groom.
I wouldn’t trade anything for the privilege of being a witness to times like these. As I finish up a thesis project for a masters degree I decided to get for fun (who does that?!) I am more and more convinced of this. All in all, I am so grateful for how I am shaped by education and learning, but every time I arrive at a shoot, I am full. I am confident and honored and just all around PUMPED.
Zach and Laura, you guys are so intentional with your words. I am still so moved by what you chose to say to honor the commitment you made to each other, and I am still so blessed by the fact that you chose to take little moments out of your wedding day to tell me how much you appreciated me being there. You two are rockstars, and I am so glad we will run into each other every August from here to eternity. xoxo.
These short blog posts are NOT MY DREAM. In just ten short days I will be done and back to our regularly scheduled programming full with tons of images to share. But until then, it’s these little teaser posts that will just have to do. Happy Monday, y’all!
