This season has been a unique one. It’s been all kinds of excitement and newness, and yet so much bittersweet. My best friend and I had to celebrate two huge life events apart and it’s been hard to say the least. But it makes these moments—the ones where I get to spend a weekend watching Natalie and Taylor embrace this new life, a life with a little Zoey to snuggle—so much sweeter.
Also, the fact that Zoey was, in fact, a Zoey was a HUGE surprise. We thought we were celebrating a little boy but she said, “NOPE. I’m your new best friend and I’m a SHE.” To read Natalie’s hilarious and so so so sweet account of it, check out her blog HERE.
