The quiet of the Hudson River on this particular morning in May was something else. I sat in the backseat of a taxi at 5 a.m. watching first light appear over the stillness of the water, grateful the driver decided to drive along the river. New York City at dawn is a completely different world. It’s a stillness unlike any other, a certain peace that causes this incredible elation to rise up within me.
New York, I will always wake up early for you.
(ps–Johnny & I are heading to NYC Oct. 31-Nov. 3 and I have just a coupleee options to schedule shoots. Dancers + lovers, hit me up.)
Hi. You’re too good. Bye.
