When Shelly and Ryan came up from Texas to do an anniversary session with me, there was rain in the forecast and a major chill in the air, the McKenzie Pass (the road to our original location) closed the very day we drove up to shoot there—but they are the kinda people who roll with the punches and trusted me a ton and didn’t even care a little bit when it started snowing. And they’re the kinda people who’ve had me shoot their engagements and wedding and now this. Clients who turned into real, true friends. That’s the dream I’m living.
Sidenote: When someone first told me when I moved up here that there were lava fields all around us, I thought they were pulling my leg. They weren’t. There are TONS. Just lava! Sitting there! With forest views or mountain views or empty views—just waiting to be explored. If you need me, I’ll just be over here counting down the days until the mountain highways open up again for summer.
Sidenote to the sidenote: They picked up a bouquet from HART for their shoot and I’m a big big big big fan of that.
