Once a year in the late fall, I set aside a couple of dates for mini sessions. These are quick, 15-20 min sessions at a set location of my choice with a quick turnaround time for holiday cards. My general ethos still applies, but these are definitely more intended for those who are just looking for a solid couple of images.

How far in advance should we book?

For winter and spring sessions, I recommend booking at least 1-2 months in advance. For summer and fall, I recommend booking as early as possible - or at least 3-6 months in advance.
I'm based in Bend, Oregon and available here year round. But! I also offer availability in Portland and the Oregon Coast throughout the year. I also have family across the country in Chicago, Dallas, South Carolina, NYC, and Denver and waive travel fees if all the stars align.
Help! what do we wear??
I love love love helping people style their clothes for our sessions. I have a pinterest board that I keep fresh with outfit ideas that inspire me, and I usually create a moodboard for every session. I always recommend feeling 100% like yourself, but just a little more *oomph*. You'll never regret doing something a little more bold, and small pops of color go a long way. This is part of the collaboration process, and we can dream up the perfect thing together.

What if the weather is terrible? Can we reschedule?
We'll be in touch in the days leading up to your shoot to confirm location and weather. We'll decide together if we can move somewhere indoors or somewhere with a better forecast (mountain town life). I actually really love shooting in all kinds of weather as long as it's not dangerous. But if it's looking too torrential to have a good time, we'll reschedule. I aim to keep my schedule open enough to have rescheduling options for every session.
