I love looking back. Somehow a year doesn’t feel complete until it’s passed under my hindsight like this.
2021 was a beginning and end of so much for me — the year I became a mother + the year I traveled the least. I loved it. Every second. I know so much more about who I am as a person and as an artist. I’m just as relentlessly obsessed with my couples as I was 10 years ago when I started this whole thing. I’ll still travel several times a year, but I’m so much more rooted than I’ve ever been – thanks to my little bear named Jamie.
All throughout the year I dream of the day I have a second to get some of these images on my website, and I’m so happy that day is here. Enjoy a slow scroll through one of my favorite years of my life, and someday soon I hope you’ll be in one of these recaps because connecting with you is my favorite thing.
